PDO threads are smooth monofilament stimulating threads, pre-threaded onto a small needle. They are made from PDO (polydiaxanone) which has been used in surgery for over 30 years. These threads are placed in the dermal layer of the skin and initiate the formation of new collagen which improves skin firmness and elasticity.

These types of Mono threads are smooth threads without barbs, that are used for skin tightening when surgical lifting is not necessarily desired or required. MINT MONO threads are completely absorbed by the body about 3-6 months after treatment.

This treatment is suitable for anyone who has started to notice the signs of ageing. Results will be more obvious over time, and improve over three to six months.

Side Effects 

Depending on your skin's sensitivity and any medications you may be taking (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or other blood thinners), you might experience some temporary, minor side effects, including:

  • Tenderness or bruising at the treatment areas  
  • Tiny red dots at the treatment sites  
  • A mild headache, depending on the treatment area

How Does it Work?
